Worship Confessional 9.30.07
There’s no drama to report about leading worship this Sunday, praise the Lord! I came away thinking that the people were engaged, and I was thoroughly blessed this Sunday to be a part of things. Sometimes a song comes along and really hits the spot. I could tangibly feel the intensity of the moment and it was powerful…
We also repeated “Sing to the King” this Sunday to reinforce it after introducing it last Sunday. We have an older gentleman on our worship planning committee and he said that the melody and words of the song were not too complicated. They were straightforward enough to follow easily. Whew – so this one’s a keeper!

Cool!
My Sunday on the other hand went pretty bad. I think I had almost everything that could go wrong go wrong this week. People didn’t seem very engaged, my guitar battery died (toward the end of first service) adn my backup guitar’s battery was also dead, etc. Just one of those weekends that I wouldn’t really care to repeat.
Awesome.
It’s always cool when people from the congregation come up to you and, essentially say, they were engaged in worship.
We’ve been doing “Sing to the King” for a while now, and its really a powerful way to start a service.
made me glad is a great song! its cool to read your worship sets here.
